We were at the Hacking the Human Body conference on Thursday, which had a full day of presentations and panels on a wide variety of subjects, including robotics, neuroscience, synthetic biology, synthetic neurobiology, music therapy, prosthetic limbs, bio-remediation, and brain sensing technology.  This was at Digital Garage in SF, they have an excellent crew supporting events there.
